For time efficiency of the time we spend together during the visit, I will request that you book your own appointments. At the end of our session, we can agree on a time frame for you to follow-up, then you can book it afterwards. However, this will differ for those who are requesting weekly appointments at the same time and day. Please note, I will need to confirm all appointments, so look out for a confirmation email.

Please sign into the client portal as soon as possible and cancel your appointment. Clients who cancel appointments less than 24 hours before our scheduled appointment will be charged 50% of the service rate. Clients who do not show up for the appointment will be charged the full service rate.

There are a few things to know about medications. First, the psychiatrist, pharmacy, and health insurance company are three different entities, so the source of the issue can result from any of them. For the psychiatrist, the prescription did not go through. For the pharmacy, the prescription was never received, or the pharmacy did not notify client that it’s ready to be picked up. For the health insurance company, they may deny coverage for specific medications.
It is far more complex than that, but this is a very general overview. I’d recommend contacting your pharmacy first. If they did not receive the refills, contact me and I’ll resend the prescription.
